About the event
Unkeivah is a Treble Chorus for adult singers, focusing on Jewish choral music. This a cultural group, and not a religious one in any way, and we invite those who are part of all Jewish movements as well as those who do not identify as Jewish. Anyone willing to go on a Jewish journey with us is welcome.
Jewish music can mean a Jewish composer, lyricist, language, text, or even just tell a Jewish story in some fashion. Christmas music written by Jews is fair game for us!
Our first concert will be called "Hope is a Choice," and our repertoire is all about hope.
We rehearse Monday evenings in Mar Vista, Los Angeles, CA.
